心中若是起了嫉妒心，也许众生的意识并没有感觉到；可是他的意根与如来藏也许会领受到，假如互相之间的缘够深的话。这是很厉害的，所以这样会障碍自己摄受众生，因此不要对众生生起嫉妒心。

If jealousy arises in one’s mind, the consciousness ofanother sentient being might not feel it, but his root of the conscious mind [Manas] and Tathagatagarbha mayhave already perceived it, provided that the two parties have strong enough affinity. The consequence of this isfar-reaching as it will hinder you from teaching and guiding sentient beings, so do not be jealous of others.
